ABC SOCIAL MEDIA MODEL
A 3-STEP FRAMEWORK FOR BUILDING A SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY
Most social media activity fails because it starts tactically, isn’t integrated effectively and some of its most impactful attributes are ignored.
The ABC model ensures you are focused on audiences that help meet your objectives, embrace the power of an interdependent brand and ignite communities with your campaign activity. Use the template developed for my books to create your own strategy.
SOCIAL FIRST CUSTOMER JOURNEY MODEL
A visualisation of the way consumers behave in a social first world
We trust the algorithm, we search in social and using AI, we expect to hear what everyone thinks about a brand, not just what they tell us is true.
In a social first world, discovery and evaluation are simultaneous, decision making is instantaneous, and trust building and value consideration feeds back into other people’s discovery.
Every stage can now be completed without leaving the platform, which makes opinion more powerful and the whole journey faster.
INTERDEPENDENT BRAND FRAMEWORK
INTERDEPENDENT BRAND FRAMEWORK
Strong social brands have mature interdependent relationships with their audiences. They know that a brand is not something you own and broadcast: it is co-created with the audience who engage with it, validate it and talk about it. So this framework builds brand strength and content pillars from four elements, Purpose, Position, Proof, and crucially, Participation, which together produce Trust.
